STATEHOUSE (March 19, 2024) – State Rep. Peggy Mayfield (R-Martinsville) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2024 legislative session.

As pages, the students assisted lawmakers and staff with daily duties, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, and joined Mayfield on the House floor to learn about the legislative process.

"It's always nice to see local students participate as pages during the legislative session," Mayfield said. "This program is a great way to learn more about how laws are made as well as get an up-close look at the history enshrined in our Statehouse."

These area students served as pages during the 2024 legislative session:

  • Fallyn Conway, from Martinsville, attends Martinsville High School;
  • Ronin Conway, from Martinsville, attends John R. Wooden Middle School;
  • Kaydence Sinn (pictured with State Rep. Joanna King (R-Middlebury)), from Mooresville, is a home-schooled student; and
  • Caleb Wright, from Bloomington, attends Tabernacle Christian School in Martinsville.

Students ages 13 to 18 should consider participating during the 2025 legislative session. Contact Mayfield's Statehouse office at h60@iga.in.gov or 317-232-9600 for more information.
