STATEHOUSE (Oct. 14, 2020) – The Indiana State Department of Health is hosting a free drive-thru COVID-19 testing clinic in Lawrence County this week, according to State Rep. Chris May (R-Bedford).
Testing is available 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Oct. 17 at First Assembly of God, 2601 27th St. in Bedford. According to May, tests are free and available regardless of symptoms.
"With nearly all coronavirus-related restrictions lifted across the state, Hoosiers should have the opportunity to get tested and take all necessary precautions against this virus," May said. "Continued vigilance is essential, especially as the weather turns colder and we spend more time indoors. The steps we take today can help keep our schools and businesses open in the future."
Additional information on COVID-19 testing and sites is available at coronavirus.in.gov/2524.htm. May said coronavirus.in.gov provides continuous updates on Indiana's efforts.
