STATEHOUSE (July 14, 2017) – “Thanks to the long-term investments being made in Indiana’s transportation infrastructure, over the next five years our area will see almost 400 miles of poor quality roads resurfaced. Between the money awarded to Brown, Jackson, Johnson, Lawrence and Monroe counties, the communities in South Central Indiana will see a total of more than $250 million in repairs to our roads and bridges. From the improvement of bridge structure to the installation of new traffic signals, travelling through our area is going to be vastly improved as a result of the many projects set to take place under the ‘Next Level Roads’ initiative.”
