STATEHOUSE (Nov. 20, 2018) – Ethan Manning of Denver took the oath of office today to serve as state representative for House District 23.

Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush administered the oath in the House Chamber of the Statehouse during Organization Day, the formal start to the legislative session.

“Being sworn in as a member of the Indiana General Assembly is a moment I will never forget. It’s an honor to serve the people of my district and have their support,” Manning said. “Looking forward, I am ready to begin working with my fellow legislators as we dig into issues impacting our state and representing our communities’ interests.”

A Miami County native, Manning grew up on his sixth-generation family farm and graduated from North Miami High School and Western Governor’s University. Manning served as president of the Miami County Council and head of the county’s Republican party. He is a real estate broker and owner of Manning Auctions.
