STATEHOUSE (Nov. 23, 2016) — House Speaker Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis) today appointed State Rep. Jim Lucas (R-Seymour) as Assistant Majority Whip and vice chair of the House Committee on Government and Regulatory Reform.

“As a small-business owner, I understand the impact regulations can have on job creators and their ability to grow and thrive,” Lucas said. “With my experience, I will support commonsense policies that keep Hoosiers working and our economy growing. I’m looking forward to serving in my leadership role and I’m confident of what we can accomplish in the upcoming legislative session.”
