Lindauer receives committee assignments

STATEHOUSE (Nov. 28, 2017) – State Rep. Shane Lindauer (R-Jasper) was recently appointed to serve on three standing committees for the Indiana House of Representatives.

Lindauer was named to the House Committee on Government Reduction, the House Committee on Roads and Transportation, and the House Committee on Natural Resources.

“I look forward to working with fellow legislators and addressing the issues that affect Hoosiers throughout the state,” Lindauer said. “In my role on these committees, I hope to build on efforts streamlining government efficiency and further improving transportation infrastructure.”

Standing committee hearings typically occur at the Statehouse in Indianapolis and can be viewed live online at iga.in.gov. Committees meet during session – which begins on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 – to review proposals for new laws.

House lawmakers will convene at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 3 for the first day of the 2018 legislative session.
