STATEHOUSE (May 1, 2023) – State Rep. Matt Lehman (R-Berne) recently welcomed Norwell High School students Kale Fuess and Makenzie Fuess to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2023 legislative session.
As pages, the students assisted lawmakers and staff with daily duties, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, and joined Lehman on the House floor to witness and learn about the legislative process.
"I appreciate Kale and Makenzie visiting the Statehouse and learning more about their state government," Lehman said. "They were both very engaged and eager to assist staff and members, and I hope they enjoyed their trip to our capital city."
Lehman said students ages 13 to 18 should consider participating in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2024 legislative session.
