STATEHOUSE (Jan. 19, 2016) – State Rep. Matt Lehman (R-Berne) paired his sneakers with his suit today at the Statehouse to help raise cancer awareness.
“With more than 35,000 Hoosiers expected to be diagnosed with cancer this year alone, it’s important to capitalize on every opportunity to increase awareness,”
Lehman said. “We are united in the fight against cancer and will continue supporting efforts to find a cure for this awful disease.”
The Suits and Sneakers challenge is an annual event sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches to help raise cancer awareness and support those affected by the disease.
