STATEHOUSE (May 9, 2023) – State Reps. Chris Judy (R-Fort Wayne) and Bob Morris (R-Fort Wayne) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2023 legislative session.

As pages, the students assisted lawmakers and staff with daily duties, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, and joined Judy and Morris on the House floor to witness and learn about the legislative process.

"It's great to see young Hoosiers from our community getting involved in their state government," Judy said. "They have a great opportunity to see how laws are made and learn about Indiana's history."

Fort Wayne students Tyeler Seibert, who attends Snider High School, and Edward Sun, who attends Canterbury High School, served as pages during the 2023 legislative session.

"I appreciate visiting with local students to teach them about the lawmaking process," Morris said. "It's an opportunity for young Hoosiers to witness how our state legislature works, and it's great to see them taking interest."

Morris said students ages 13 to 18 should consider participating during the 2024 legislative session.
