STATEHOUSE (March 16, 2022) – State Rep. Michelle Davis (R-Whiteland) recently welcomed Johnson County students to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program.

According to Davis, the students toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined Davis on the House floor to witness the legislative process.

"This unique learning opportunity provides students a chance to spend the day at our historic Statehouse and interact with their local lawmakers," Davis said. "We want all Hoosiers to be civically involved and engaged, and the page program is a great introduction to how government works."

These area students served as pages during the 2022 legislative session:

Davis said students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating during the 2023 session.
