Jeter, Cherry statement on Walmart choosing Hancock County for new fulfillment center

 Note to the press: Please include the following statements from State Reps. Chris Jeter (R-Fishers) and Bob Cherry (R-Greenfield) in your coverage of Walmart selecting Hancock County to develop its new e-commerce fulfillment center, which is expected to create up to 1,000 jobs by 2025. 

 STATEHOUSE (Sept. 24, 2020) – "This is great news for our community as Hancock County will now be home to Walmart's largest fulfillment center in the country. As more and more consumers choose to buy products online, e-commerce is a rapidly growing industry, and I am thrilled our area was selected," said State Rep. Chris Jeter (R-Fishers).

"Time and time again, Indiana proves to be an attractive place for employers to establish and expand their operations. This project and the 2.2 million square foot facility employing Hoosiers has the potential to be transformative for our area while boosting our local and state economy," said State Rep. Bob Cherry (R-Greenfield).
