STATEHOUSE (July 7, 2017) — State Rep. Todd Huston (R-Fishers) was recently named to four summer study committees that will examine assigned topics, gather testimonies and recommend potential legislation.

Huston was assigned to the Indiana Career Council, the Interim Study Committee on Fiscal Policy, the Interim Study Committee on Public Policy and the Joint Committee on Judiciary and Public Policy.

“Working throughout the summer and fall months gives legislators more time to explore specific issues effecting the state,” Huston said. “During session, I worked on a law focusing on streamlining and transforming Indiana’s workforce and I’m looking forward to building on those efforts.”

Huston said interim study committee hearings, which typically occur at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, can be viewed live online at iga.in.gov. This site also provides committee calendars and meeting agendas. Members of the public are welcomed to attend and testify.
