STATEHOUSE (June 27, 2024) ― House Speaker Todd Huston (R-Fishers) today released the 2024 interim study committee assignments for members of the Indiana House of Representatives.

Interim committees meet throughout the summer and fall to explore and review policy issues and work together to identify solutions. Legislators will hear testimony from the public, various experts and stakeholders as they work on bill recommendations ahead of the budget session, which will start in January.

“Legislators will tackle a wide variety of issues in the months ahead in preparation for next year's budget session," Huston said. "I'm grateful to have a deep bench of talented and knowledgeable members who I know will work hard to find solutions to the challenges facing Hoosiers, because that’s what our constituents expect and deserve.”
