STATEHOUSE (July 1, 2022) ― House Speaker Todd Huston (R-Fishers) today released the 2022 interim study committee assignments for members of the Indiana House of Representatives.
State legislators serve on interim committees throughout the summer and fall, and examine top policy issues, gather public input and recommend legislation for the following session.
“Legislators do a lot of their work digging into policy during the summer and fall months to prepare for the regular legislative session, which begins in January," Huston said. “While legislators are busy preparing for a special session later this month, we're still focused on the issues that will come before the General Assembly next year.”
