STATEHOUSE (Dec. 11, 2024) – House Speaker Todd Huston (R-Fishers) today released committee appointments for members of the Indiana House of Representatives.

Standing committee appointments are made biennially after the November election and are in effect for the duration of members' two-year terms.

"These committees are the workhorses of the legislative session, where bills are vetted and discussed and members of the public can share their feedback through testimony," Huston said. "Our legislators bring incredible talent and dedication to addressing the issues that matter most to Hoosiers, and I'm confident we'll make meaningful progress on our caucus priorities this session."

House lawmakers will convene at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 for the first day of the 2025 legislative session. Hoosiers can visit iga.in.gov to find legislation, view calendars, and watch committee meetings and session.
