Heine reappointed to serve on House Ways and Means Committee

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 10, 2018) – State Rep. Dave Heine (R-Fort Wayne) was recently reappointed to serve on the House Ways and Means Committee.

“The importance of a budget year can never be understated,” Heine said. “While crafting an honestly balanced budget, we will focus on the state’s priorities and continuing to live within our means.”

Heine was also reappointed to the House Agricultural and Rural Development Committee, and the House Financial Institutions Committee.

Standing committee assignments are made biennially after each election. House lawmakers will convene at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 3 in the House Chamber for the first day of the 2019 legislative session.
