STATEHOUSE (Jan. 9, 2025) – Applications are live for the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, according to Hancock County lawmakers.

State Rep. Cory Criswell (R-Middletown) said Hoosier students ages 13 to 18 are invited to spend the day assisting lawmakers and staff, touring the Indiana Statehouse and listening in on the legislative session.

"Being a page is not only a way for students to learn up close how government works, but they can also meet their state representative and work in a professional environment," Criswell said. "I hope to see students from our district explore this opportunity and apply."

State Rep. Chris Jeter (R-Fishers) said applications are live and can be found at IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram along with available days during the 2025 legislative session, which starts Jan. 8 and must end by April 29.

"Learning about Indiana's government early on can leave a huge impact, especially when students have a front row seat to the lawmaking process," Jeter said. "I would love to have the opportunity to meet young Hoosiers from our district and show them how their state government works."

State Rep. Ethan Lawson (R-Greenfield) said interested students will have the opportunity to page on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session and will receive an excused absence from school. Large groups can participate on Wednesdays only. To schedule a group, contact the page program director at 317-232-9410 or pageprogram@iga.in.gov.

"As a new member of the legislature, I’m excited to welcome students to this year's page program," Lawson said. "This program allows young Hoosiers to see state government in action and learn more about how decisions are made that shape our communities. I look forward to meeting the students who take part in this opportunity."

Students are responsible for their own lunch and transportation to and from the Statehouse in Indianapolis.
