These legislators, who each represent a portion of Hamilton County, participated in the Suits and Sneakers Challenge, an annual event hosted by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball coaches, to help raise awareness. According to the American Cancer Society, more than 37,000 Hoosiers will be diagnosed with cancer this year. The Suits and Sneakers event highlights ways to reduce the risk of cancer, like eating right, exercising and making healthy lifestyle choices.
