STATEHOUSE (March 13, 2024) – State Rep. Lori Goss-Reaves (R-Marion) welcomed Shederick Whipple from Upland, who attends Indiana Gateway Digital Academy, to the Statehouse where he participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2024 legislative session.
As a page, Whipple assisted lawmakers and staff with daily duties, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, and joined Goss-Reaves on the House floor to learn about the legislative process.
"The page program is a great way for students like Shederick, who want to learn more about the state's legislative process," Goss-Reaves said. "I hope to see more local students sign up for this amazing opportunity next session."
Students ages 13 to 18 should consider participating during the 2025 legislative session. Contact Goss-Reaves' Statehouse office at h31@iga.in.gov or 317-232-9600 for more information.
