STATEHOUSE (May 19, 2025) – State Rep. Lori Goss-Reaves (R-Marion) recently welcomed Allison Hooten from Marion, who attends Marion High School, Liv Young from Sweetser, who attends Oak Hill High School and Sara Lootens from Marion, who attends Marion High School, to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session.
The page program offers a unique hands-on opportunity for Hoosier students to gain a better understanding of the ins and outs of the legislative process while interacting with state leaders.
"I cannot say enough about the benefits of the student page program," Goss-Reaves said. "Each student is given the opportunity to meet and get to know lawmakers while experiencing a House session, which is really valuable for students interested in government."
During their day as pages, Hooten, Young and Lootens interacted with and assisted lawmakers and staff, toured the Statehouse and joined Goss-Reaves on the House floor to watch the legislative process in action.
