Frye laces up sneakers to fight cancer
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 19, 2016) – State Rep. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) paired his sneakers with his suit today at the Statehouse to help raise cancer awareness.
“Last year alone, it cost Hoosiers nearly $2 billion to treat and fight this disease,” Frye said. “It is important to capitalize on every opportunity to increase awareness, encourage healthy lifestyles and support research in order to save lives.”
The Suits and Sneakers challenge is an annual event sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches to help raise cancer awareness and support those affected by the disease.
