STATEHOUSE (July 14, 2017) – “At the heart of our state, transportation infrastructure throughout Marion and Johnson counties plays a major part in Indiana’s role as the Crossroads of America. With the new funds from the Next Level Roads Plan, our communities will be able to maintain and improve our roads and bridges, which keep our economy moving. Over the next five years, Marion County is expected to receive more than $251 million and Johnson County is estimated to receive over $177 million in funds for projects including adding 19 new miles of road lanes, resurfacing nearly 400 miles of roads and repairing or replacing more than 80 bridges in the area.”
