STATEHOUSE (Sept. 29, 2016) — State Rep. Dave Frizzell (R-Indianapolis) and fellow Republican members of the Indiana House of Representatives are seeking interns for the upcoming 2017 legislative session, which runs from January through April.
“During the legislative session, our interns are fully immersed in the work being done on behalf of Hoosiers,” Frizzell said. “This opportunity provides a unique experience for young professionals to build their resumes, grow their network, and ultimately, launch their careers.”
College sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, law students and recent graduates are eligible to apply. Benefits include a bi-weekly compensation of $700 and opportunities to earn academic credits and a scholarship.
Frizzell said these are full-time positions, Monday through Friday, with a typical work day starting at 8:30 a.m.
Internships are available in various departments, including legislative, communications, technology, fiscal policy and policy.
