Note to the Press: Please include the following statement from State Rep. Bill Friend (R-Macy) in your coverage of the Next Level Roads Plan announced today by Gov. Eric Holcomb:

STATEHOUSE (July 13, 2017) — “It is encouraging that our local communities will now have more than $73 million to invest in our roadways. This added funding will go a long way in resurfacing nearly 300 miles of roads in our area. Keeping our roads and bridges safe and functioning for Hoosiers and visitors to travel on is very important, and investing in our regional infrastructure will help Indiana maintain its reputation as the Crossroads of America.”

Local County Funding:

Cass County: $30,083,796

Fulton County: $15,824,441

Miami County: $27,130,120
