STATEHOUSE (July 14, 2017) – “St. Joseph County is expected to receive almost $50 million in the first five years of the Next Level Roads Plan to complete much-needed infrastructure projects. Nearly 200 miles of road lanes will be resurfaced and 50 bridges will be improved or replaced throughout the area. A number of necessary repairs are set to be made to the section of U.S. 31 that runs through our county. More funds will also be made available to complete other local road projects through the use of Community Crossings Matching Grants.”
