STATEHOUSE (Aug. 16, 2024) – State Rep. Dale DeVon (R-Granger) recently honored Mishawaka High School with a proclamation recognizing their Centennial First Day of School celebration.
Mishawaka High School was founded in 1874 through the Mishawaka Town Board. The current high school opened to students in 1924, which DeVon said brings quality education, athletic success and community involvement to students who have attended for the past century.
“What Mishawaka High School has done for students and families for the last century is truly remarkable,” DeVon said. “I want to congratulate the faculty, staff and students for all their hard work and dedication and wish the school nothing but the best for the next 100 years and beyond.”
The proclamation formally recognizes students who are currently enrolled at Mishawaka High School for their academic achievements, extracurricular activities, athletic accomplishments and creating a welcoming atmosphere to staff and other students each day.
