STATEHOUSE (Jan. 19, 2016) – State Rep. Steve Davisson (R-Salem) paired his sneakers with his suit today at the Statehouse to help raise cancer awareness.
“More than 35,000 Hoosiers could be diagnosed with cancer this year alone,” Davisson said. “It is important to capitalize on every opportunity to increase awareness, encourage healthy lifestyles and raise money for research.”
The Suits and Sneakers challenge is an annual event sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches to help raise cancer awareness and support those affected by the disease.
