STATEHOUSE (April 1, 2021) – From custodians to truck drivers, and from mechanics to small-business owners, State Rep. Michelle Davis (R-Whiteland) is recognizing Johnson County residents with Hardworking Hoosier Awards.

"Our community is home to so many talented and caring individuals," Davis said. "I hear about and meet local Hoosiers every day who go the extra mile to help others. This is a simple reminder that heroes live right here in our community, and most Hoosiers are working hard to make our area and our state a better place."

Established by Davis, the Hardworking Hoosier Award recognizes community members who make Johnson County a better place to live, work and raise a family. Award recipients are recognized with a pin and special certificate, and highlighted in Davis' official e-newsletters.

Davis recognized 11 area residents with the Hardworking Hoosier Award since January:

Davis said residents can find out more and submit a nomination by visiting in.gov/h58.
