STATEHOUSE (April 27, 2023) – State Rep. Cory Criswell (R-Middletown) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2023 legislative session.

As pages, the students assisted lawmakers and staff with daily duties, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, and joined Criswell on the House floor to witness and learn about the legislative process.

"The House Page Program can be a very exciting experience for young students," Criswell said. "As an educator, I know that learning outside the classroom is incredibly valuable, and I welcome others to join me at the Statehouse next session."

These area students served as pages during the 2023 legislative session:

  • Gavin Frazier, from New Castle, attends New Castle High School;
  • Braylon McRoberts, from New Castle, attends New Castle High School;
  • Isaac Middleton, (pictured with State Rep. Chris Campbell (D-West Lafayette)) from New Castle, is home schooled;
  • Clayton Lovett, from Middletown, attends Shenandoah High School; and
  • Rebecca Waggoner, from Knightstown, attends Knightstown High School.

 Criswell said students ages 13 to 18 should consider participating during the 2024 legislative session.
