STATEHOUSE (Dec. 10, 2018) – State Rep. Martin Carbaugh (R-Fort Wayne) was recently reappointed to serve as chair of the House Insurance Committee.
“My work in the private sector provides a strong background on insurance issues,” Carbaugh said. “The work accomplished in committees lay the foundation for proposed legislation, and it’s important we thoughtfully approach this work while focusing on what’s best for Hoosiers.”
Carbaugh was also reappointed to the House Employment, Labor and Pensions Committee, and House Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development Committee.
Standing committee assignments are made biennially after each election. House lawmakers will convene at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 3 in the House Chamber for the first day of the 2019 legislative session.
