Burton, Walker will host two town hall meetings

STATEHOUSE (Jan. 5, 2017)—State Rep. Woody Burton (R-Whiteland) and State Sen. Greg Walker (R-Columbus) will host two town hall meetings next week to share information about the 2017 legislative session.

The House and Senate convened for the first time this week, and the General Assembly must adjourn by April 29. 

“I encourage constituents to attend a town hall meeting and participate in the discussion,” Burton said. “Any input I receive from constituents is invaluable to my job as a legislator. Knowing your thoughts on issues that come before the General Assembly helps me best represent you and your family.” 

Burton and Walker will discuss issues constituents would like to see addressed during the upcoming legislative session during town hall meetings in Whiteland and Greenwood:

6-8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9

Whiteland Town Hall

10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 14
