STATEHOUSE (July 7, 2017) — State Rep. Bruce Borders (R-Jasonville) was recently named to two summer study committees, which examine assigned topics, gather testimonies and recommend potential legislation.

Borders is assigned to the Interim Study Committee on Government and the President Benjamin Harrison Conservation Trust Project Committee.

Having served as the mayor of his home city of Jasonville, Borders has a keen interest in government issues.

“I look forward to gathering input and making the best decisions for Hoosiers while serving on the Interim Study Committee on Government,” Borders said.

Borders said interim study committee hearings, which typically occur at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, can be viewed live online at iga.in.gov. This site also provides committee calendars and meeting agendas. Members of the public are welcomed to attend and testify.
