STATEHOUSE (April 12, 2018) — Reit Price Company, Inc. on Wednesday at the Statehouse received the Governor’s Century Business Award for its contributions to the community, according to State Rep. Greg Beumer (R-Modoc).
Beumer said Reit Price Company, in operation since 1900, was recognized for its longevity and sustained investment in the community. Reit Price manufactures mops, brooms, handles and hardware.
“Local businesses contribute greatly to our state and local economy,” Beumer said. “As a longstanding business in our community, Reit Price Company has created jobs and opportunities for local Hoosiers. We are fortunate to be home to such an incredible business.”
The Governor’s Century and Half Century Business Awards honor Hoosier businesses that have remained in operation for a minimum of 100 or 50 consecutive years and have demonstrated a commitment to community service. Visit www.iedc.in.gov to learn more.
