STATEHOUSE (July 14, 2021) – "Hoosier students and teachers persevered through one of the toughest school years. Educators throughout the state worked tirelessly to keep students on track academically, and focused on ensuring kids didn't get lost in the shuffle between in-person and remote learning. While not ideal, these ILEARN results represent an important snapshot of student learning, and provide key data reflecting the significant impact of the pandemic and a foundation for growth. We know many students are dealing with learning loss and other challenges, and parents and schools can use these results to strategically address these issues. These results do not define Hoosier students or teachers, but serve as an important tool to help students get back on track and succeed."
