STATEHOUSE (March 13, 2024) – State Rep. Stephen Bartels (R-Eckerty) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2024 legislative session.
As pages, the students assisted lawmakers and staff with daily duties, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, and joined Bartels on the House floor to learn about the legislative process.
"It's great to have engaged students join me at the Statehouse," Bartels said. "Hosting young people from our community is a pleasure, and I'm excited to see their interest in civics and state government grow."
