STATEHOUSE (May 22, 2025) – State Rep. Brad Barrett (R-Richmond) recently welcomed Greyson and Sierra Longnecker from Richmond, who attend Northeastern High School, to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session.

The page program offers a unique hands-on opportunity for Hoosier students to gain a better understanding of the ins and outs of the legislative process while interacting with state leaders.

“I was thrilled to welcome Greyson and Sierra back to the Statehouse this year,” Barrett said. “This program is a great way for students to get involved, ask questions and learn about state government up close. I'm proud to see young Hoosiers like them take full advantage of the opportunity.”

During their day as pages, Greyson and Sierra interacted with and assisted lawmakers and staff, toured the Statehouse and joined Barrett on the House floor to watch the legislative process in action.

Students ages 13 to 18 should consider serving as pages during the 2026 legislative session. Contact Barrett's Statehouse office at in.gov/56 or 317-232-9695 for more information.
