STATEHOUSE (July 6, 2017) – State Rep. Ron Bacon (R-Chandler) was recently selected to serve on the Medicaid Advisory Committee.

The committee will examine assigned topics, gather testimonies and recommend potential legislation for the 2018 legislative session.

“As a longtime health-care professional and vice chair of the House Committee on Public Health, I will use my experiences to contribute to discussions and debates held by this committee,” Bacon said. “With everything going on at the federal level with health care, this committee has a lot of work to do in the coming months.”

Bacon said interim study committee hearings, which typically occur at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, can be viewed live online at iga.in.gov. This site also provides committee calendars and meeting agendas. Members of the public are welcomed to attend and testify.
