STATEHOUSE (Nov. 6, 2019) – Loge Elementary School was among 12 schools honored Monday by the Indiana Department of Education during a ceremony in Indianapolis for receiving a 2019 National Blue Ribbon School Award, according to State Rep. Ron Bacon (R-Chandler).
Bacon said Loge Elementary School was recognized for its overall academic excellence and fostering an environment of learning and growth for all of its students, helping them to reach their full potential.
“Educating the next generation of citizens in our community requires hard work from parents, teachers and administrators,” Bacon said. “Loge Elementary School has gone above and beyond in preparing our students for success now and in the future.”
The Blue Ribbon School Program is part of a larger national effort that aims to identify the best school leadership and teaching practices.
According to Bacon, over 312 public and 50 private schools from around the country will be recognized during a ceremony Nov. 14-15 in Washington, D.C. In its 37-year history, the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program has bestowed this coveted award on more than 9,000 schools.
