STATEHOUSE (July 6, 2017) — State Rep. Lloyd Arnold (R-Leavenworth) was recently selected to serve on the Interim Study Committee on Public Safety and Military Affairs.

The committee will examine assigned topics, gather testimonies and recommend potential legislation for the 2018 legislative session.

“As a member of the public safety and military affairs committee, I look forward to exploring ways to continue keeping Hoosiers safe,” Arnold said. “A number of new laws were recently enacted to promote the wellbeing of Indiana residents, and I hope to build on those efforts as we look for ways to better serve our veterans and first responders.”

Arnold said interim study committee hearings, which typically occur at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, can be viewed live online at iga.in.gov. This site also provides committee calendars and meeting agendas. Members of the public are welcomed to attend and testify.
