STATEHOUSE (March 1, 2019) – State Rep. Ron Bacon (R-Chandler) and State Sen. Mark Messmer (R-Jasper) will host a legislative update in Chrisney on Saturday, March 9.
The public meeting will take place from 9-11 a.m. at the Chrisney 4-H Center, located at 1101 E. County Road 800 N.
“In order for me to best represent our area, it is important to know the thoughts and opinions of our citizens,” Bacon said. “This is an additional opportunity to make your voice heard, provide feedback and have a thoughtful conversation about bills going through the process this session. I encourage members of the community to come out and participate in this event.”
Bacon and Messmer will provide information on proposed legislation and answer questions regarding local and state issues.
“Town hall meetings provide a valuable opportunity to get feedback from constituents,” Messmer said. “I hope to see people turn out and look forward to discussing legislation we’re working on this session as well as other issues affecting our community and state.”
Those unable to attend the meeting can contact Bacon or Messmer by calling 317-232-9600 or 317-232-9400 to ask questions and provide feedback on legislation.
State Rep. Ron Bacon (R-Chandler) represents House District 75,
which includes portions of Warrick, Pike and Spencer counties.
