STATEHOUSE— “Governor Daniels’ State of the State was bittersweet; he projected a very optimistic tone, yet it is hard to grasp that this was his last opportunity to give such a speech. Governor Daniels has proved to be one of the best financial managers of Indiana in recent years. He is the reason that Hoosiers are better off economically than other states throughout the Midwest. “His leadership was one of skilled and responsible fiscal management. Because of his achievements, I am confident our next governor will enter office in a flourishing economic climate. His optimistic message was a reassurance to Hoosiers that nothing but positive change is going to come for us in the future.” |
