The Arc of Evansville receives outstanding accreditation
Join me in congratulating the Arc of Evansville for receiving accreditation from the Commission of Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)! This is their eighth consecutive time achieving the accreditation.
The CARF is an international, independent non-profit organization working to assist service providers in improving their quality of service. The accreditation process for facilities is on-going as CARF utilizes a set of standards as well as on-site surveys to evaluate the quality of services provided by an applying organization.
The Arc of Evansville received an accreditation that only three percent of facilities receive, meaning they were given no recommendations to improve their facility. This accreditation will last through 2018 and further showcases this great organization's commitment to providing quality service to southwest Indiana.
The Arc of Evansville is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to gain their independence and achieve their full potential. As a member of our community, I am passionate about this organization and the work they do to support the children, students and adults who participate in their programs.
