Community Involvement:
State Rep. Julie McGuire was elected to the Indiana General Assembly in November 2022. She was born and raised in Indianapolis, and gained experience through serving in the community, and working with nonprofits and in state government.
As the state representative for House District 93 in Marion County, McGuire will continue supporting parental rights and the rights of the unborn, educational choice for Hoosier students, the Second Amendment and law enforcement.
McGuire is a graduate of the Family Policy Alliance's Statesmen Academy, which trains Christian, pro-family legislators with the knowledge, skills and temperament necessary for successful policymaking. She also completed the Early Childhood Policy Academy by the Hunt Institute, which guides policymakers through the latest and best research in the field.
McGuire and her husband, Mark, are the proud parents of four children: Sophia, Grace, Brady and Mark. They are long-time members of St. Roch Catholic Church in Indianapolis.
