I am pleased to have served as the State Representative for House District 38. I am pleased to represent the citizens of Cass, Howard, Clinton and Carroll counties.

Rep. VanNatter was born and raised in western Howard County where he currently resides with his wife Felicia and their three children, Madison, Bella, and Cole. Heath is a graduate of Northwestern High School and has been a small business owner for the past thirteen years.
He was the past president of the Howard County Home Builders Association, of which he is a current board member. In addition, he currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Indiana Builders Association, The Board of Directors for National Association of Home Builders, and is a past member of the Howard County Plan Commission. Rep. VanNatter also serves on the Howard County Republican Party Steering Committee. Heath and his family are members of the Faith Church of Christ in Burlington, IN.
As a small business owner and local employer, Heath understands the struggles facing the economy and the fiscal responsibility that Indiana must adhere to. As a homebuilder, he realizes the need for safe and affordable housing. Housing that not only provides shelter, but also a platform for economic growth. Heath is devoted to playing an active role in economic development, working with all interested parties to bring new jobs and retain the ones that exist in District 38.
As the Representative of District 38, Rep. VanNatter serves Carroll, Cass, Howard and Clinton counties in Kokomo, Ind. For the 2015 legislative session, Rep. VanNatter serves as the vice-chair of the Utilities and Energy Committee. He also serves as a member of the Environmental Affairs and Local Government committees

STATEHOUSE (June 13, 2018) – Gov. Eric Holcomb on Monday ceremonially signed into law legislation co-authored by State Rep. Heath VanNatter (R-Kokomo) updating Indiana Code concerning Hoosier chiropractors’ professional standards and scope of practice.

Each year, the Indiana House of Representatives participates in the Suits and Sneakers Challenge, an annual event sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. According to the Indiana State Department of Health, 102 new cancer cases are diagnosed every day.

STATEHOUSE (July 12, 2017) —State Rep. Heath VanNatter’s (R-Kokomo) bill promoting the responsible expansion of clean water sources throughout the state was ceremonially signed into law today.
STATEHOUSE (July 6, 2017) — State Rep. Heath VanNatter (R-Kokomo) was recently selected to serve as vice chair of the Interim Study Committee on Employment and Labor and as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications.
STATEHOUSE (Oct. 16, 2015) – State Rep. Mike Karickhoff (R-Kokomo) and Heath VanNatter (R-Kokomo) today announced Indiana will pay off its federal unemployment loan early leading to significant savings for Hoosier businesses.
The State Budget Committee voted today to authorize a $250 million repayment of a federal unemployment loan prior to the Nov. 10 deadline. Karickhoff, who serves as chairman of the House Budget Subcommittee, and VanNatter joined House Republicans earlier this year in adding the early payoff option to the state’s budget.
