Your Vote, Your Voice

September is National Voter Registration Month, a great time to make sure you're registered and ready to make your voice heard at the ballot box this November. If you've moved, changed your name or need to register for the first time, take a few minutes this month to check your registration and make sure your information is accurate and up to date.

Hoosiers can also register to vote in person at their county clerk's office. Already registered? You can check or update your voter registration status, find your nearest voting location and see who's on your ballot while on the state's website.

The deadline to register to vote in Indiana is Oct. 5 and early voting begins on Oct. 6. Election Day will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

You can request an absentee ballot here if you are unable to vote in-person at your polling location. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Oct. 22.

Citizen poll workers play a critical role in ensuring our elections run smoothly and efficiently, from welcoming voters to verifying registrations and issuing ballots.
