Election Day is almost here! On Tuesday, Nov. 3, Hoosiers will have the opportunity to cast their ballots and help shape the future of their communities, state and country. Whether you're a first-time voter or a longtime participant in the electoral process, taking a few minutes to make a voting plan can help ensure you're ready.
Know before you go. Indiana polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time on Election Day. Before heading out, confirm your polling location and check your registration status through Indiana's voter portal at IndianaVoters.in.gov. You can also review your sample ballot to learn which candidates and public questions you'll be voting on.
Be prepared at the polls. Election integrity is important in Indiana. Voters should bring an eligible photo ID and allow enough time to cast their ballot before polls close.
