STATEHOUSE (Aug. 16, 2017) – “Although Indiana’s unemployment rate is near a record low and our economy is running on all cylinders, we currently have a shortage of highly trained and skilled workers to fill the positions being created. In fact, over the next decade there will be more than 1 million job openings in Indiana. In order to continue positioning Hoosier workers and job creators for success, the Next Level Jobs initiative better aligns education and training with employer needs, while also providing the tools and resources job seekers need to find higher-paying jobs.”
State Rep. Cindy Ziemke (R-Batesville) represents House District 55, which includes
all of Fayette County and portions of Decatur, Franklin, Ripley and Rush counties.
