HOUSE DISTRICT 31 (Nov. 25, 2019) – State Rep. Ann Vermilion (R-Marion) hosted a listening tour on Wednesday, Nov. 20 in House District 31 to meet and hear from constituents, employers and community leaders on local and state issues.

“It was a pleasure to meet with everyone who stopped by our public meetings and hear their views on various topics ranging from public health and education to infrastructure,” Vermilion said. “I encourage anyone who was unable to attend to reach out with any questions or comments. Listening to your ideas and insight on different issues continues to be a priority to me as we move into session.”

Vermilion’s tour included several public meetings in Blackford and Grant counties, with stops at Carrie’s Restaurant in Montpelier, Common Grounds in Harford City, the YMCA of Grant County in Marion and Jackie’s Restaurant in Gas City.

The 2020 legislative session starts on Jan. 6. Vermilion said constituents with ideas for new laws can contact her at 317-232-9600 or h31@iga.in.gov.
