Student pages join State Rep. Alan Morrison at the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (April 29, 2019) – State Rep. Alan Morrison (R-Brazil) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse.

As House pages, these participants toured the governor’s office, the House and Senate chambers, and the Indiana Supreme Court. They also helped staff with daily duties and joined Morrison on the House floor during the legislative session:

  • Alex Davis, from Clinton, attends South Vermillion High School;
  • Brian Little, from Clinton, attends South Vermillion High School;
  • Sydney Mrazik, from Marshall, attends the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics and Humanities; and
  • Libby Nobles, from Staunton, attends Northview High School.

“The House page program is a really neat experience for young students in our community, where they can see the Statehouse and learn about state government,” Morrison said. “I always enjoy the chance to answer questions and talk with the kids.”

Students between the ages of 13 to 18 who are interested in paging during the 2020 session can learn more at Participants receive an excused absence from school and groups can request to page together.


State Rep. Alan Morrison (R-Brazil) represents House District 42,

which includes all of Vermillion County and portions of Clay,

Fountain, Parke, Vigo and Warren counties.
