STATEHOUSE (May 15, 2019) – State Rep. Sharon Negele (R-Attica) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse.
As House pages, students toured the governor’s office, the House and Senate chambers, and the Indiana Supreme Court. They also helped staff with their daily tasks and met with Negele to learn more about the legislative process:
“I always enjoy meeting students from our community who participate in the page program,” Negele said. “This is a wonderful experience for students to learn about our state government, and I encourage even more young Hoosiers to get involved next year.”
Students between the ages of 13 to 18 who are interested in paging during the 2020 session can learn more at www.indianahouserepublicans.com/pageprogram. Participants receive an excused absence from school and groups can request to page together.
State Rep. Sharon Negele (R-Attica) represents House District 13, which includes all of Benton County,
and portions of Fountain, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Tippecanoe, Warren and White counties.
